Projects for Clients

Since founding Amina Derbi Creative LLC in February 2023, I’ve had the pleasure of working with incredible clients. Each champions a noble mission for the greater good. Below is some more information on the organizations I have recently worked with and the projects I completed for them in support of their meaningful missions.*

UNICEF USA

UNICEF relentlessly works day in and day out to deliver the essentials that give every child an equitable chance in life: health care and immunizations, safe water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more. UNICEF USA advances the global mission of UNICEF by rallying the American public to support the world’s most vulnerable children. I had the honor of designing a few projects for UNICEF USA including a floor map for their Joint Boards Meeting in April 2023, a digital program book for their International Women’s Day Celebration, and the program and menu for their Ramadan Interfaith Iftar Dinner with Islamic Relief USA.

Malteser International Americas

Malteser International Americas is a nonprofit organization that provides aid to people in need in around 140 projects in 36 countries, regardless of their religion, gender, origin, or political convictions. I had the honor of designing in 2023 their Year in Review for 2022. A video of the print version is available below and the digital version can be found on their website here. Samples of some of the spreads are also available below.

Kaizen Human Capital

Kaizen Human Capital is an evidence-based organizational development, leadership coaching, and human resource consulting firm. They help clients through organizational development, Diversity, Inclusion & Equity training, HR consulting, and leadership coaching, seminars, and more! I had the honor of designing an infographic for them here based on data their CEO and Founder gathered regarding complaints filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) from 1992-2022. Below are different versions of the infographic for use on different platforms (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).

I’RAISE Girls & Boys International Corporation

I’RAISE Girls & Boys International Corporation takes great pride in being a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization led by BIPOC and women. Since 2013, they have been passionately dedicated to providing educational support, parent support, and mental health services, resources, and programs to families and children in underserved and under-resourced communities, with a particular emphasis on communities of color. I had the honor of designing many projects for them including a suite of materials for their Mental Health is All of Us event in October 2023, Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Fall 2023, Atlanta Creative Rise Arts Center, and more. I was first connected with them through a Taproot Foundation volunteer project, doing pro bono work for I’RAISE from June-August 2023. They then decided to hire me for paid projects from September-November 2023.

*Permission was granted by clients to me the designer to use the above work samples on this website. Each clients’ logo is its own individual property and I am not the owner. While I designed each of the materials above, I used pre-existing logos provided by each of the clients to me for the purposes of completing the design projects. In addition, the clients listed above are separate entities, neither affiliated with nor endorsing one another.
